Signers of the Declaration of Independence

There were 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence. John Hancock’s signature is the largest and most famous. The youngest signer was Edward Rutledge (age 26).  The oldest was Benjamin Franklin (age 70).  John Adams and Thomas Jefferson signed and would become future presidents.
